See what AI says about you. Change what it says next.

A year ago, AI visibility answered one question: how often do you show up? Writesonic started there too. Then our customers started asking harder questions.

"What is AI actually saying about us? Is it true? Where did it get that information?"

Those questions have only grown more important. What AI believes about your brand, how it describes you, and which sources it trusts have become part of your brand.

Today's release is built around just that. Visibility tracking and our agents are now one platform.

Fact Check, Sentiment and Citation Decay show you what AI believes about you, how it talks about your brand, and which pages it cites. Social citations show which YouTube channels, LinkedIn posts and Reddit threads are driving those citations, and Shopping brings the same lens to products. And Outreach Agent, the first agent built to work alongside you, helps you get mentioned in the pages AI uses to generate its answers. For a closer look at each one, Shef has written up everything we shipped today, feature by feature.

Here, I want to explain why we built it.

What our customers need.

Nearly everything in this release came from watching customers use Writesonic, and from what they asked us for.

They wanted to know more than whether they were mentioned. An answer that recommends you while quoting outdated pricing, or calling you expensive, doesn't do you any favors. Customers wanted prioritized actions rather than more data:

"What's worth doing this week, and why?"

And once they saw a problem, they wanted to act without needing to work between multiple tools to fix it.

Sometimes the ask was very specific. At brightonSEO San Diego, an agency partner asked whether we could show which cited pages they were losing ground on over time. She asked on a Friday. Citation Decay shipped the following Tuesday.

It's now one of four new ways to see what AI says about you, alongside:

  • Fact Check, which traces every wrong claim to the page AI took it from.
  • Sentiment (rebuilt), which now trace negative AI answers about your brand to the exact page and paragraph behind them.
  • Social citations, which show the YouTube channels, LinkedIn posts and Reddit threads driving your citations, and the creators worth working with. A lot of what AI cites now lives on these platforms, so knowing who is behind it matters as much as knowing which websites AI trusts.

The hard part starts after the dashboard

Seeing all of this is one thing. Acting on it is another.

Your team is already running SEO, content, PR, product marketing, paid, and brand marketing. AI search arrived on top of all that, with its own playbook, leaving your team with yet another marketing channel to manage.

So the real questions are about resources.

"How much of this quarter goes to classic SEO, and how much to AI search? Who owns a fix that sits between content, PR, and product marketing?"

The good news is that much of what earns a place in AI answers also helps in traditional search, so the two don't have to compete for the same resources.

A 100x marketing team, powered by software and agents

As always, we don't stop at just data. The Action Center you already know turns what you see into on-page and off-page opportunities: pages to refresh, gaps to fill, and sources to win back.

What's new is that you no longer have to do the off-page work manually. Outreach Agent finds the author behind a page AI cites, drafts a personalized email, sends it from a pre-warmed Writesonic domain so your own domain is never at risk, and notifies you of new replies. You approve each send or approve in bulk. Outreach Agent is available now in early access as an add-on.

On-page fixes are within reach of any team. Off-page work is where good marketers improve their visibility, and now it's a workflow rather than a time-consuming, manual task.

Agents and Action Center are what help you build a 100x marketing team: software shows you what matters and the agent does the legwork. You make the final call.

Built for the team you already have

You shouldn't need an AI search specialist to compete. We've spent years helping 10,000+ brands and agencies get found, and the new Writesonic interface is built so you can see, act, and measure in one place, across ChatGPT, Claude, AI Overviews, Gemini and more.

No services retainer. No three-month onboarding process. Just sign up and see how AI mentions your brand in minutes.

If you're already a customer, the look and feel are new, nothing has been removed, and the workflow is simpler.

Shef Reynolds, VP of Marketing at Writesonic, and I are walking through all of the product updates on Wednesday, November 18 at 11 AM ET, in a 30-minute fireside chat with a demo of the new platform. Save your spot here.

Where to begin

If you're a customer, start with Fact Check. Add your pricing, plans and main integrations. Then tag the buying questions you care about most, and see what comes back. From there, open Citation Decay and look at your Faded pages. Shef's feature-by-feature walkthrough and the docs cover the details.

Search will continue to evolve, and we'll continue to evolve with it. But our goal stays the same: help marketers and marketing teams win.
